![]() Right now, the meta does indeed seem to be to speedrun human rights. I think the Ottomans are perfect for that.Īlso, rather than choosing the AAR that sounds coolest, the economy one is also a good choice to try and shine some light on concerns about the game. I also hope to see some ethnic tensions in the Economic AAR tbh. Maybe there'll be other ways out of it than modernizing asap). (Though, maybe I'm assuming too much about how that crisis works out. I hope to see how well he fares in resolving the Sick man of Europe crises using the obvious strategy. Ofcourse, I would love to see a reactionary warmongering playthrough also being viable in an AAR if Mexico won, but they didn't. Meanwhile the other two seem like more strategically viable options which means it'll be a more representative playthrough which is what I'm interested in pre-release. It sounds like a very difficult challenge run. My concern is that due to the Sick man of Europe crisis, taking the difficult path of focusing on warwould not be very representative of that playstyle since it doesn't sound like it would do much to 'win' that. If my arguments seem at least a little convincing, please vote for "Restore Imperial Glory" in the poll linked above. However, for some reason it is another economy-focused AAR that has 2% advantage over conquest focused one. Seeing aggresive Ottoman reconquest we can get a feeling about how far we can go with aggressive policies, what sort of obstacles we can expect from GPs, and how likely it is that diplomatic play can turn into war.Īll of those things are great unknowns - unlike many economic stuff connected to market. Aren't you curious about how fast you can change a newly conquered state into heaven of earth, thus proving your conquest and war was only for the good?Ĥ. Ottoman reconquest in Imperial Glory scenario will for sure teach us about issues connected to acommodating conquered territory. This AAR will be rich in screenshots - aren't all of us curious about how war will look like, how the fronts and battles work? There's your chance to see it with details.ģ. We know zero about how war really looks like. Is it really the most mysterious thing we would be curious to learn about right now?Ģ. We already had so so many detailed info in AARs about building economy - so many cases and examples of all the stuff related to it such as joining someone's market and its consequences, how market works, employees, immigration, goods, production methods. I would strongly encourage all of us to make Twitter account (it takes literally a minute) and vote for "Restore Imperial Glory" for the following reasons:ġ. There are three choices: Imperial glory (focus on conquests and prestige) economy, and going full liberal republic. There is an amazing poll on Twitter regarding future AAR as Ottomans play style.
